Hot Dog Pretzel NY tee & Onesie
Being a native New Yorker, I wanted to bring some fresh NYC flavor to the table. From my hometown all the way to the West Coast, get in the Empire State of Mind by spreading the love in this original Piccolini design.
Band in Box
Inspire all the little rockers out there with some homemade jams.
Cordy Roy Pig
Who wouldn’t love to give—and receive–a Jellycat? This little piggy is a cuddly recommendation and an absolute favorite. I always make mine personal with, what else, pig tails!
Chewbeads
Lisa Greenwald = Genius. This fashion industry veteran has created chic jewelry that’s on-trend and serves a purpose. The NYC mommy of two brainstormed the concept inspired by little ones to be worn by moms. Made with silicone and dishwasher safe, by far one of the hottest gifts for new mommies and equally loved by babies.
Rockabye Baby
By far my favorite gift to give! I adore seeing reactions to awesome songs musically transformed into lullabies, and anyone who walks in the store knows I will DJ for them all day. This makes the gift for a little one so much more personal when everyone and age enjoys listening to the music, not to mention a great way for the family to get excited for babies-to-be. Perfect gift for dads, too (who can be hard to shop for). Even if you want to get just a little something, Rockabye Baby makes a big statement. The musicians I selected to carry in the store really rock the crib and are ones I personally love. Piccolini’s hit-list includes The Beatles, Pearl Jam, Madonna, and Kanye West.
Trumpette’s Skater
Perfect for crawling,& stroller-ing. These socks are so hip for a new baby boy or girl. Keep their teeny tiny tootsies comfy and still trendy in these printed shoe socks. The box of six is ideal for gift-giving.
And To Think That I Saw it On Mulberry Street by Dr. Seuss
The very first children’s book by Dr. Seuss, this tale is a perfect library starter and one I always suggest–especially now being a part of the special block in NoLiTa with the same name. Though he was writing about the Mulberry Street in Springfield, Massachussettes, the book will always have a home in Piccolini. The copy in the window was a gift from my mom and is my own good luck charm. A true conversation piece, it has a magic to make everyone smile who passes by.
Dogeared New Mom Pin
Such a sweet sentiment! Sometimes it’s just nice to be reminded. The necklace comes in gold or silver, both complete with card and message:
“congratulations! you are a new mother. wear your necklace as a reminder to fill your baby’s life with love and lullabies. get some sleep!”
Go The Fuck To Sleep
I know there plenty of parents out there thankful that someone finally put this into a bedtime story. I’m not a mother yet but my mom always says to me, “If you don’t laugh, you’re going to cry.” This book definitely takes the cake for causing a few tears of laughter, and I love to give it to sleepless parents with fun messages inside.
