Love is all you need … Piccolini is where you come to find it.

Meet : Piccolini … love for the little ones
Tradition of a neighborhood shop. Of watching families grow. Of gift-giving.
Welcome to Piccolini.
Growing up where special occasions meant home-made sweets and beautiful gifts inspired by love for the little things.
At Piccolini, we believe that treasures are in the details. It’s the gift and the sentiment that makes it story-telling. A favorite stuffed animal is passed down to a baby brother … A receiving blanket becomes a comfort a little girl can’t sleep without.
From before they enter the world, to the moments they are taking their first steps, let Piccolini help shower your little ones with love. The proud grandparents, the ecstatic uncle, the new mom and dad, the excited big sis; we’ll help make memories with the gifts your loved ones can’t wait to get–and you’re thrilled to give.
Gift-giving has always been so special and important, and we’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time. It’s our turn to give back something sweet to the neighborhood.
Come spread the LOVE because “love is all you need”.

Meet Alex
Store owner Alexandra Zagami comes from a line of sweet entrepreneurs; her grandfather, Sonny, was the owner at Little Italy’s Savoia Bakery. Her parents started Made In Heaven Cakes when she was just a little girl. Drawing inspiration from her family, she knew she wanted to continue the tradition of bringing something sweet to the table.
After ten years in retail, from boutique to department store, Alex needed to satisfy a different craving. Retail perfected her eye for gift-giving, but her sweet-tooth wasn’t quite satisfied. Inspired by her Aunt Fran’s thoughtful presentation of gifting with love and the colors in Grandpa Sonny’s Italian seven-layer cookie (her favorite!), she knew she wanted to open her own store. With roots in the neighborhood, there was no place was more suitable than Mulberry Street. It was a dream coming true. Piccolini was born.
When she’s not at the store, Alex can be found cheering on her home team, The Yankees, and living for the thrill of Madison Square Garden beating beneath her feet. She is thankful for pumpkin pie, The Beatles / Jay-Z , and her wonderfully supportive family/all her supportive loved ones. She is also so very thankful she’s been given this gift of an opportunity … one that lets her keep on giving.
